I have occipital neuralgia. It is a very painful condition that also brings on stiff neck muscles and intense migraine headaches. I ordered this water bottle and cover during a particularly rough night and, though I craved relief, I did not expect much. The water bottle itself is durable and good quality. The cover is thin and one side is covered with sharp, pointy plastic flowers. If you pick it up without thinking, you will be quickly reminded of their sharpness. I couldn't see how this would possibly be helpful or remotely comfortable under my head and neck. It was initially as sharp and pointy as expected but then something happened... I sort of melted into it and my pain calmed down. There was a warmth and relaxation taking over before I closed my eyes and felt comfort. It was so comfortable I had to fight to stay awake. I've since used it during many moments of severe pain as well as sleepless nights. I'm not sure how it works but it does and I am grateful.

I wish you could use hotter water in it.

So glad I found this Kanjo heat therapy acupressure pillow! It's better than any heating pad and can be used in a variety of ways, neck, back, feet, etc. It can also be used cold, which I can't wait to try. Arrived packaged well, with quick shipping. Will definitely be recommending to my friends.

I thought I'd give this a try and was careful to do it exactly the way I was supposed to. I think I'm too ADHD to just lay there for the time it would take to work - it made me crazy and I didn't feel like I got any benefit but it could be me - If you've got the time to relax and don't mind, it could work for you. It was a bit uncomfortable in the very beginning but there wasn't any real pain, it was more the waiting.

This heat therapy acupressure pillow is made of quality materials, is very nice, and comes with a carrying case. The only reason I gave the acupressure pillow 4 stars is that the flower shaped acupressure nodes are slightly sharper than I had envisioned and take a little bit of getting used to. Other than that it is an excellent product and once I get used to the sharpness of the nodes it does provide a noticable amount of pain relief. The only other thing that would have been nice is if it included a placement chart to make things a little easier for placement.

I am a big fan of accupressure mats and pillows and have used them regularly for many years. What intrigued me about this is the ability to mix heat with accupressure at the same time - honestly it sounded amazing.This is basically a standard hot water bottle with a accupressure cover that goes over it.As far as accupressure goes, it's great - and having water in the bottle is nice because it is basically like an adjustable pillow. The part about this that is disappointing is the heat. I put some very hot water in to the bottle and tried using this on my neck, back, legs, etc, and no matter where I put it, I couldn't really feel the warmth from the hot water through the spikes. There is warmth and it is subtle, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. This is a fine accupressure pillow and if you are after heat, just go in to it with proper expectations and you won't be disappointed. Mild warmth might be felt, if anything, but you won't feel anything like if you put just a plain hot water bottle on your skin. I might end up just using the bottle insert from this to heat an area up and then do accupressure after.

Nothing beats the weight/feel of a hot water bottle when you are miserable with tummy issues or back pain, and this one has the added bonus of accupressure to help relieve pain, stress, and tension more effectively than just the bottle alone. Highly recommend, great seller, great product!

This product has really help out with my neck pain. The fact that you can fill up the pillow with warm water is very innovative. There's nothing better than using this acupuncture mat after a hard day of work. This product has significantly helped me control my stress.

SO used this on her shoulder/back that was sore and worked greatto relieve some of the pain!

i'm really enjoying my Kanjo hot water bottle pillow. I've used hot water bottles for pain relief for years but the concept of acupressure spikes is still pretty new to me. Something about combining the heat of the hot water with the acupressure spikes leads to a very nice experience. I've been using mine almost every night since I got it, usually right before bed.

I'm glad I found this Kanjo Hot Water bottle. I decided to try this for my achy lower back. The heat after adding hot water to the bottle and the little give of the water is perfect to use when I'm seated. I just put the bottle against my lower back and lean into it. If I move, it gently moves with me. After noticing the Kanjo flyer that came in the packaging, I decided to try the warm hot water bottle under my feet while seated. I found that it also relieved my plantar fasciitis! The heat was an added bonus. The packaging said you could use cold water too, but I was really looking for heat relief.

This pillow is great! Perfect for relieving neck pain while lounging on the couch. I'd definitely buy this again!

Nice bottle pillow with the acupressure effect on the outside. I tried this out one evening and filled the bottle with hot water.The heat and acupressure effect did offer some relief. However, I couldn't get past the point of the prickly effect after 10-15 mins.Going to give it another shot and see if my body will adjust to it. I need time to adjust to it.
