Monitoring Data & Accuracy

The Dream Duo 3 sock uses clinically-validated pulse oximetry technology to measure oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate. Readings update every 2–3 seconds when the sock is properly positioned. The system is designed to alert caregivers to unusual patterns, but individual readings may vary based on sock fit and placement. Owlet recommends consulting your pediatrician if you have questions about specific readings.

Sock Sizing & Fit

The Dream Duo 3 sock is sized for babies from birth through 18 months. A proper fit is critical for accurate readings. The sock should sit snugly on your baby's foot—not too tight (no marks or discoloration after removal) and not too loose (no sliding during movement). Owlet provides detailed fit instructions in the app and on their website. The sock is machine-washable; wash separately in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Setup & Connectivity

The Dream Duo 3 connects to your home WiFi through the base station. Setup takes approximately 10–15 minutes: power on the base station, download the Owlet app, scan the QR code on the base station, connect to your WiFi network, and pair the sock. The app walks you through each step. You'll need an Owlet account to use the system (free).
