How to Use the Orbit

1. Releasing the Psoas (Front of the Hip)

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
  2. Place the Orbit under your lower abdomen, just below the belly button.
  3. Gently lower your body onto the ball, allowing it to apply pressure to the psoas muscle.
  4. Hold for 60–90 seconds, breathing deeply and relaxing into the pressure.

2. Releasing the Piriformis (Glute Area)

  1. Remain lying on your back with knees bent.
  2. Place the Orbit under your glute on the side you wish to target.
  3. Gently roll to find tender spots in the piriformis area.
  4. Hold pressure on each tender spot for 30–60 seconds.

3. Releasing Deep Hip Rotators

  1. From the same position, adjust the Orbit slightly to target the deep hip rotators located between the sit bone and the outside of the hip.
  2. Apply pressure to these areas for 30–60 seconds, breathing deeply and relaxing into the pressure.

4. Using the Orbit as a Warm-Up

  1. Before engaging in physical activity, use the Orbit to warm up the hip flexor and glute regions.
  2. Spend 1–2 minutes on each area to increase blood flow and prepare muscles for movement.
