Excellent addition

Fits the curvature of lumbars (having a big butt) on a variety of surfaces in addition to the wedge and acupressure mats. They work well in tandem.

I use this by placing

I use this by placing it around as to be against my L4-5 region. Then I use an elastic adjustable belt to strengthen and stabilize it when I ride my motorcycle. This along with my Airhawk seat cushion allows me longer seat time . I am going to experiment with replacing the Airhawk with the acupressure seat cushion .

I want to return

I received and tried this and the neck support and I am not impressed. The foam in the neck support is very uncomfortable after a few minutes. The back piece"you can't get equal pressure from the entire pad unless you lie down. Tying it on and going about your day wearing it only apply pressure to the area tightened down. One side will flap down
I contacted the company right away and have heard nothing. My plan is to follow up again today and/or file a dispute with PayPal. So disappointed that it didn't work out.

Easily Packs For On The Go Relief!

This acupressure belt by Kanjo is super versatile. It rolls up and stores in a small bag that easily tucks into a gym bag, backpack, or even a large purse for on-the-go access. It provides targeted relief. You can unroll the belt and drape it over a surface to help get the results you need. Use it over a pillow or large roller, or simply wear it as a belt. It helps to relieve pain or swelling.

Nice travel size

I use acupressure for chronic illness and have a full size back mat so was happy to have this smaller version as well. It feels like my other one. It rolls up and is difficult to get back in the pouch but it can be done. I don't usually feel pain relief from it but I do feel that it relaxes my nervous system after about 20 minutes. I recommend.

It feels good

At first this felt really weird because it felt like you have hundreds of pins sticking into your back. Overtime I started to like this and even craved it. I also have a similar product by the same company that I put on the floor for my feet. It also feels very good just like this. There are evidence to show their acupuncture works and this is one way of taking advantage of it.

Surprising. new design

I was hit by a drunk driver years ago and have resisted having disc surgery. A friend recommended this type of approach to pain management and I originally used a mat by the brand name Spoonk but that meant staying stationary for a certain amount of time. This is a new design which I hoped would allow me to wear them as I continued doing my jobs through the day. Unfortunately, I cannot tie it tight enough and get the pressure needed for results. These work by "overriding" the pain receptors and temporarily stopping the pain sensation. All I get when wearing this is an annoying scratching feeling. This does work well when laid on, or when tied on and then you sit firmly in a chair. It arrived with a nice zippered carry case which makes it more travel friendly. I am happy I have it, but if I had to chose just one I would go with the mat design.

Good product

I have been using this type of product for some time now. Every now and then when I have back pain I apply it to the area and the pain this thing causes makes me forget about back pain :-). But seriously after lying down on this mat I do feel some temporary pain relief. My previous mat was larger and used EVA foam and fabric for the backing. This one uses cotton and is smaller. I like the larger size but prefer cotton backing since it is easier to wash if needed. This is a good product if you know how to use it. I like the storage bag it comes with, makes the whole thing neat for storage.

Great for back pain!

I have a pinched nerve in my back, it causes me issues off and on. This belt is so awesome! It really does relieve the pain fairly quickly. You can also use this all over your body wherever you need some relief. Great item!

Awesome travel option for those with chronic pain!

I'm someone with chronic muscle and back pain and I've used accupressure mats for years. When I was traveling I made sure to bring a small travel mat. I'm not sure if this type of mat existed at that time but I probably would have gone with this for traveling if it was out! I was excited to try something that I could wear out.I wasn't expecting very much when I wore it under clothing, I was expecting it to look bulky or weird, but it actually didn't at all! I have no problem wearing weird stuff under my clothing for pain but it's a plus when it really is more subtle like this one.I can be really sensitive to tactile stuff and with the normal mats you're mostly just touching the plastic so at first I was nervous if the fabric that wrapped around would be itchy or uncomfortable, or too tight when wrapped around. None of this was the case and I was super pleasntly surprised by that too! This comes in a really awesome and compact travel container. The travel mat I had before had some velcro on it and a lot of times it wouldn't really roll up. I'm glad they did the bag vs the velcro in this situation too, really nice touch.Accupressure may or may not work for you but for me this was a no brainer given the success I've had with it before. This will be part of my chronic illness travel kit in the future :)

Great product!!

I am a huge fan of acupressure mats, but I've used a product quite like this! Like other mats where you have to lay down on the floor or a bed, this allows you to sit up and get the same benefits. You can use this in the car, watching tv, laying in bed, sitting in a desk chair... really anywhere. It hits your lower back if you are having lower back pain. It also comes with a carrying case that I find very convenient!Overall, I'm very happy with this product! I can't wait to see the results and pain relief I get from it.

Odd, but effective

When it comes to relieving back pain I'll try anything. This has been unexpectedly effective in dealing with lower back pain. It does take some time to get used to it since the plastic pressure nubs are rather painful against bare skin. But after wearing it for 10 minutes I did feel some relief from the pain. Enough relief that I've been using this regularly. It doesn't magically eliminate pain, but it has been more effective than any other brace, belt, stretcher or similar product that I've tried so far. After a few uses, I got acclimated to the how the plastic nubs feel and didn't find them as painful as at first. It's simple to use -- just position it and tie the two cloth straps in front. The build quality seems fine, and it comes in a small, but decently made holder with a zippered top. The main con is the straps. It would have been much better if there was Velcro or some type of fastener to hold the belt in place instead of having to just tie the straps together. Given the price, the simple straps seem out of place. One star down for the straps, but otherwise, an effective way to deal with back pain.

Excellent invention

I have mats that use this type of technology as well as pillows. You have to be careful when touching it because it can actually cut you if you are not careful. My son fell on a mat like this when he was younger and cut himself. I slammed my hand on top of this on the counter by accident and really hurt myself too because I'm clumsy. Lol. Anyway, this is perfect for lower back pain. I've been dealing with some bladder and kidney issues and actually doctoring this week without definitive answers what is going on. I wrap this around my waist under my shirt and it does deliver what it's supposed to do. I didn't think it would really work if I wasn't laying back on it but it actually did press in, but I did tie it pretty tight. This might be nice to wear when you are driving, and personally I like to lie backwards propped up in my bed and watch shows and I can use it then. I just really appreciate that this is a targeted area device. With where my pain is right now, I don't feel it would get the areas by laying on a flat mat with the same little nodules. It's also nice to actually walk around and get things done and it keeps working on me. Personally, with things like these I feel it's similar to acupuncture where if you are consistent with it you can notice more effects. I like this.

Something different and new to try for relieving pain.

Day 2 of wearing this Acupressure Belt with built-in plastic disks with semi-sharp points. Starting to get used to the unusual prickly feel and sensation. I like so many, suffer from Sciatica, so I'm wearing the belt around my hips and bottom because that's the most aggravating area for my pain. It's mostly coming from a pinched nerve above a lower back surgery site, and also affects my right leg. Anyway, this Acupressure is something unique that I'd not tried before, hopefully better than pain medication, so we'll see how it goes. So far, so good. A few recommendations for this product that I can see is for longer straps for the belt to accommodate different body shapes, or possibly a few sets of different lengths to attach, plus the use of Velcro or some sort of hooks/snaps would be an excellent solution for a good fit. Of course that would mean a higher price with the extras. Tying the belt in a knot is a pain! Trying to untie that knot is worse. This product comes packed in a very nice sturdy zippered traveling bag with adjustable handle. Will continue giving this idea or concept a try.

Game changer for inflammation

I purchased this for my father as a Christmas gift this year.He broke his back when he was in the military in the 80s. While it has been a very long time, he still deals with a lot of residual pain. This acupressure belt has worked to relieve inflammation which is what causes a lot of the pain.
