Amazing

The Kanji mat helps me relax and release tension in my shoulders. Also helpful for my wrists after working on beadwork projects.

Nothing short of a miracle

I feel like I need to do an infomercial for your product. I have been having lower back pain for about 6 years now. I have been put on steroids, pain killers, muscle relaxers and even had injections in my back. None of that stuff worked. My son purchased the pillow for me due to having now 6 different types of chronic migraines. When he gave me the pillow I could barely walk from back pain. If I slightly moved I was about to cry from pain. I used this pillow on my lower back for 15 minutes, It has now been 2 days and I have not had any pain in my lower back. In the middle of the night I would wake up with a burning sensation in my head. Of course from having migraines for the past 30 years I have been on over 100 different medications. I used the pillow on the back of my neck and the migraines have calmed down with NO medication. I am so thankful for whomever wisdom and knowledge was released to in order to create these tools for natural healing. I really can not thank you enough.

You have to work through the initial pain

At first this looks like some sort of torture device but it really does relieve foot pain. I'm on my feet all day so by the time night comes, my feet are killing me! I stand on this little gadget for about 5 minutes and it feels so good. I stand on it with socks on....my feet aren't tough enough for bare footed use. It is uncomfortable when you first use it, but give it some time and I think you'll agree that it will work wonders for your sore feet.

Stimulating

Each of the flowers are very spiky! At first I was not used to it but now I really love it! I don't have a standing desk but I put it under my office desk and rest my feet on it every day. Something about it is very comfortable and I look forward to this unique feeling when I work.

thick memory foam, well made

I was hit by a drunk driver years ago and have resisted having disc surgery. A friend recommended this type of approach to pain management and I originally used a mat by the brand name Spoonk. It worked very well for me but is starting to show it's age so I decided to give this a try. This is a slightly improved version of the product I love. It has a real memory foam pad that is thick and supportive. The matt is a nice size and can be used in a variety of ways. Laying on it can treat back or shoulder, rolling it up can treat neck, leg or headaches, standing on it can treat foot pain. This has pointy white plastic things that poke your skin. It doesn't cut or break the skin, but new users may want to start with a piece of cloth on between the mat and your skin. This will override the nerves in your back and cut off the pain receptors. I have personally been amazed that I get better pain relieve from medicine . . . both over the counter and prescription . . . and that is why I continue to use it.They included a sturdy travel roll bag that helps make this reasonable to use on the road as well as at home. This is well made and I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws. Would buy again!

Kind of strange, but it does help

This is a kind of strange product, but I couldn't help myself from trying it out. I have sciatica and neuropathy in my leg/foot because of back issues. Some days it doesn't bother me, but other days it drives me crazy. This is just another tool that I now have to help get my body back on track. When I use this in combination with a foam roller and general stretching I can often relieve my pain and get on with my life. The mat works well for just standing on it. This is by far the most painful option. My husband tried it out and we concluded that the only reason I was able to stand it was because of my foot numbness/neuropathy :) Another good option is to put the mat on the floor and lie on top of it. This did a nice job of distributing the acupuncture while also adjusting my back and reliving the muscle tension.

Stimulatiing

Whether or not this causes any pain relief often depends on the sort of pain that is being experienced. What I find that it does best is stimulate blood flow and titillates the nerve endings. Best used on bare feet rather than while wearing socks which prevent any real effect. It does feel kind of prickly, so it's best to use while sitting and not standing on this. Standing on it would most likely be too much and could be painful.Though not intended for this, I really like using this on my back. I'll align this along the back of a straight back chair and lean back into it while barebacked. Again, it really needs direct skin contact or it won't work. Love how it stimulate the circulation. It also makes for a great back scratcher while sitting in a chair. Lean back and slide your back around a little bit. Feels amazing. I do have to hold it in place while using it as a back scratcher, but it works wonderfully.

Good quality!

I am a huge fan of acupressure mats, but I've used a product quite like this! You can use this in the car, watching tv, laying in bed, sitting in a desk chair... really anywhere. It hits your back if you are having back pain. It also comes with a carrying case that I find very convenient! This is made for your feet, but I find a lot of relief for my back. It's very universal!Overall, I'm very happy with this product! I can't wait to see the results and pain relief I get from it.

Disappointed

I had high hopes for the Kanjo Memory Foam Acupressure Foot Mat. I love getting massages, including reflexology massages on my feet, but since covid began I have not felt comfortable going to get one. I thought this acupressure mat would be a decent substitute. However, I was disappointed. The flowers on the mat that are supposed to relieve pressure are made of a hard plastic. They are very uncomfortable to stand on. I tried multiple times and each time all that I felt was pain. Even after I stepped off of the mat I did not feel any relief from the mat, just relief that I was off of the mat. The other issue that I had was with the memory foam. I stayed on the mat for a few minutes and the foam flattened almost immediately. It is not very resilient. Overall, I am not impressed and will not be using this mat again.

like legos at first

This mat is very pointy and the first time I stepped on it it felt like stepping on legos! however you can get used to it and I think wearing socks helps with the pointiness.

Versatile mat

The acupressure stimulators are very pointy and sharp. After standing on the mat for 5 minutes my feet started pulsing and the pain got intense, I pushed through the pain and stood on it for 10 minutes total. Even though it felt uncomfortable, I can see myself using this when I need to. I had no energy and motivation to do anything today, but after standing on this, it made me feel awake and energized, so I cleaned the house, plus finished my workout. I specifically wanted this mat because it is big enough to use it on my legs, arms, back and neck area as well.

I should have read the details a little closer. I didnt realoze there were plastic sharp points on this. Not comfortable for me at all...

Super Ouchy!

The media could not be loaded. I bought my daughter a standing desk, so she's been trying out standing mats. This one consists of a lot of pointy bowls .... the little one says it is like standing on a bed of nails. Yeah, pretty much.Right now, none of us are a fan ... but maybe one of us will get use to it.Made in China

Feels great on your feet!

We're kind of torn on this contraption in our household. On the one hand, as my 10-year-old keeps pointing out, it's something of a torture device. The white plastic pieces that stick up out of the mat are hard and pointed, but they don't come near breaking skin. My teenager says it's sort of like stepping on a pile of Legos, and she's absolutely correct--if you all the Legos were somehow situated so that corners point up. As much as it can hurt, we also all can't stop using it. Granted, I am up to about 30 seconds, my husband is at about 90, and the kids can do about 15 minutes each.As much as it might hurt while you're standing on it, there is something to be said for the improved circulation to your feet afterwards. And, while I can't stand on it for more than a few seconds at a time, I find it helpful to press my feet against it while I sit upright in a chair. It is kind of relaxing, in a very unexpected way.

3.5 Stars - Works If You Believe It Does

My husband has anxiety due to iron deficiency anemia and we are trying all the natural remedies we can to help him cope at night so he can sleep. He uses a foam roller and and a wedge pillow to help with his restless leg, but he still has some leftover pain and uneasiness that he just cannot shake. I have read that acupressure mats can help, so last night he came home from his first day back from work to this mat. He was willing to try anything. My husband just jumped on with bare feet and then stood there while his feet took the 'pins' for 9 minutes. He tried to go for the full 15, but he could not tolerate it any longer. He had hundreds of tiny bumps in the bottom of his feet for hours afterwards. He noticed absolutely zero difference.I then did some reading and a lot of people have better relief when they lay on the mat. He was all in and decided to not use a towel or shirt. He just went for it. The Internet people said the mat is supposed to increase blood flow and ease muscle tension. Other Internet people said these mats are just a placebo effect. I guess if it work for you, who cares right? After 15 minutes he did say he could feel a warming sensation in the middle of his back where the pressure was the greatest. As he was also doing a breathing exercise, he told me his anxiety had decreased while laying on the mat. I did not want to quibble with him on this point, but I'm not sure if the mat had anything to do with reducing his anxiety.Overall, he likes the mat and he said he will continue using it. I have an extremely hard time with treatments that involve the person to believe for it to work. I need science.3.5 stars

Thought This Would Be A One Star Product But It's Actually Really Awesome. Is It For You? Read On!

When I saw the listing for this product it looked interesting but I really didn't think it was going to be a good product. I was wrong. If you've ever gone for a reflexology session, the reflexologist probably did some finger walking on your feet and pressed on a bunch of different areas on your feet that map to different areas of your body. Have a headache? There is a pressure point on your feet that when pressed or massaged can help make that headache go away. Some say it's all hocus pocus while other people swear by it. A reflexology instructor I had credited reflexology for getting her out of a wheel chair. During a good reflexology session, there is usually some pain or at least discomfort that feels good in the end, at least to those who are open to it and don't get weirded out by someone else doing that to their feet. Now this mat doesn't replace a reflexologist by any means but by standing on it or even walking on it in place, it can really help you relax and make you feel like you are walking on air after you stand on it or walk in place on it for even just a few minutes.Just like a reflexologist, this thing might cause you some pain or discomfort. If the plastic pieces are too sharp for you to step on it with bare feet, you can wear socks while you stand or step on it. You'll still feel some pressure but the plastic things won't dig into your feet as much. Over time you can stand on it for longer periods of time with your socks on and then ease into stepping on it or walking in place on it with your socks off.Kind of like coffee or bourbon, this is an acquired taste. Reflexology is too. Some people HATE reflexology and some people absolutely love it. Some people are open to it and others not so much. If you have sensitive feet and you don't believe in acupressure and you order this you will probably open it up, step on it, decide it hurts, decide you hate it and send it back.On the other hand, if you are wiling to start with socks on your feet if needed and gradually get your feet used to the pressure points that result from standing on these moderately sharp plastic things, you may come to love this thing. If you can't imagine any possible reason you would want to stand on something that causes discomfort or even some minor pain then you should probably not order this. For a piece of foam, a piece of cloth and some plastic things that make up this mat, $30 bucks might be a bit high. If you happen to be the type of person who likes reflexology or maybe even deep tissue massages that can cause some discomfort but feel great in the end, you won't mind the $30 and will probably love this product.

almost as good as a foot rub

I am someone that loves reflexology / foot rubs, so I had to get this as soon as I saw it. My husband sometimes gets lazy and doesn't give me my weekly foot massage so I am going to resort to this mat. I didn't bother wearing socks and stood on it - it felt "nice". I think I've gotten so used to more intense foot rubs that this doesn't feel too painful to me at all. I've always heard if certain areas on your feet feel painful, it represents some illness or unhealthy on whichever the organ corresponds with that spot on the feet. I plan to mostly use this for my feet but I know this mat is meant for the body as well. I love that this is also travel friendly, as I plan to take it with me when I go on a relaxing vacation. I now work with this under my desk and I am using this as I type. Well made, good product.

ouch

We had a good time trying this out as a foot mat. I say good time as we each stepped on it and the rest had a great laugh as the pain and torture took hold of the tester. Seriously they could use this to extract confessions from criminals. The incredible pain this causes is not to be believed. So why 3 stars? Well is you sit down and rest your for on it (rather than stand with your full weight) it isn't as and (still torture but less so). I tried laying on my back on it and it was again painful and uncomfortable. I tried to get my wife to lay on her front on it, but she said no way she would submit her boob's to that kind of torture lol. If your into accupuncture (or pressure) than this would probably up your alley (or maybe into a bit of pain). As for a general message it is pretty rough.

Excellent stimulation

The first time using it, I felt it is a bit jagged, but once getting used to it, I found I really like it. There are many spiky points uniformly distributing on the top of the mat. When standing on it, those spots stimulate different areas of my feet, simulating the acupuncture effect. The mat cover is removable and easy to clean. Inside is the memory foam which is very cushiony. This mat efficiently relieves feet pain. I really enjoy the treatment offered by this special mat.
