Unlike seated mobile stairlifts that require a person to leave their wheelchair and sit in a stair chair, the Atlas allows users to remain safely seated in their own wheelchair while being transported up or down stairs. This eliminates one of the most dangerous moments in mobility assistance: the wheelchair-to-chair transfer. With the Atlas, the wheelchair is rolled directly onto the lift platform and secured using built-in wheelchair frame clasps, wheel supports, and safety restraints. The Atlas is designed to accommodate standard and reclining wheelchairs in 16"", 18"", and 20"" seat widths, making it compatible with most everyday wheelchair users. Once locked in place, the operator controls smooth, powered stair ascent or descent using motorized anti-slip rubber tracks. It is ideal for homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, emergency preparedness, and multi-level residences where permanent wheelchair ramps or elevators are not possible.

Assembly & Directions:

No Assembly Required. Roll the wheelchair directly onto the lift platform and secure it firmly using the built-in wheelchair frame clasps, wheel supports, and safety restraints before operating. On flat surfaces, the Atlas can also function as a manual wheelchair transport device using its four-wheel base, allowing the operator to move the wheelchair across floors easily before and after stair travel. The adjustable push handles allow caregivers to maintain full control during both flat ground and stair operation, and multiple layers of protection are provided via track tension control, rear wheel brakes, and handlebar locks.
