The HealthCraft DependaBar is a wall-mounted grab bar that combines a fixed bar with a pivoting support arm that locks in 5 positions. It is designed for support when stepping into the tub, standing from a seated position, or moving through the bathroom, and folds back against the wall when not in use.

Installation required
- Choose the side (left or right) for the pivot feature.
- Level and mark the lower grab bar, drill pilot holes and fasten using the supplied #10 stainless steel wood screws (9 included) with appropriate waterproofing at each flange.
- Align the top flange 10-3/8" above the lower rail, level, mark, drill and fasten. Easy Mount™ Anchors (sold separately) are recommended to reinforce hollow wall behind the third flange.
- Slide the pivot rail up through the top flange and lower it onto the castellated collar.
- Insert the lift spacer, lock washer and bolt under the collar and tighten with the supplied 3/16" hex key.
- Install the vinyl caps over the collar grooves and the plastic caps over the flange cover holes.
Tools needed
Level, drill with pilot bit, and 3/16" hex key (supplied).

- Maximum user weight 300 lbs. Product is not intended to support full body weight.
- Install only to structurally sound walls. Vertically aligned flanges must be installed into structural wood. Add wood blocking if required.
- Do not install if the structure behind the wall is unknown.
- Do not install into metal studs.
- Do not install in fiberglass or acrylic shower enclosures with insufficient stiffness and strength.
- Pinch and entrapment points in locking positions.
- Rail and bathtub are slippery when wet.
- Professional installation by a qualified contractor is recommended.
