The HealthCraft P.T. Rail™ is a hinged, wall-mounted safety rail for use beside the toilet. Its offset rail design is intended to avoid wrist strain when sitting down or pulling up from a seated position, and the rail lifts flush against the wall for storage when not in use.

Installation required
- Hold the rail in the intended location and confirm it moves freely in all positions with room above to fold up.
- Use the wall plate as a template to mark the holes.
- Drill pilot holes.
- Fasten to the wall with the supplied 1/4" x 3" lag bolts, lock washers and flat washers (5 each). For concrete walls, use sleeve or wedge type anchors.
Tools needed
Drill with pilot bit and 5/16" hex key (supplied).

- Maximum user weight 400 lbs. Product is not intended to support full body weight.
- Bear weight on the rail ONLY when the handle is in the down position.
- Install only to structurally sound walls. Add wood blocking if required.
- Do not install if the structure behind the wall is unknown.
- Do not install into metal studs.
- Supplied fasteners are for wood structure only (minimum 2" thread engagement). Other fasteners must have a screw retention rating of at least 600 lbs.
- Pinch point between rail and wall plate.
- Rail and bathtub are slippery when wet.
- Professional installation by a qualified contractor is recommended.
