The HealthCraft P.T. Rail™ Floor Mast is a floor-mounted vertical post used to mount a P.T. Rail™ when wall mounting is not an option, or when the rail needs to be placed away from the wall. The P.T. Rail™ is sold separately.

Installation required

  1. Fasten the mast to the floor, ideally aligned with and secured to a floor joist. For concrete floors, use a minimum 5/16" sleeve or wedge type anchor.
  2. Attach the clamp plate to the back of the P.T. Rail™.
  3. Slide the rail and clamp plate over the top of the mast.
  4. Set the rail to the desired height and tighten the supplied 3/8"-16 x 3" bolts.
  5. Fit the vinyl caps over the bolt heads.

Tools needed

Drill, wrench or socket, and 5/16" hex key (supplied).

Read the complete manufacturer instructions supplied with the product before installation.

Warning

  • Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions could result in serious injury or death.
  • Maximum user weight 400 lbs. Product is not intended to support full body weight.
  • The mast must be installed to a structurally sound floor. Add wood blocking if adequate structure is not present.
  • Do not install if the structure under the floor is unknown.
  • Bear weight on the P.T. Rail™ ONLY when the handle is in the down position.
  • Use the supplied fasteners to attach the P.T. Rail™ to the Floor Mast.
  • Professional installation by a qualified contractor is recommended.
