HealthCraft SuperPole™ with SuperBar™ Transfer Pole

Installation required

1. Slide the spring ring up to expose the three collar set screws and back them off with the hex key.
2. Install a pivot bushing into the T-bar and secure with a screw.
3. Remove the cover sleeve from the bottom of the pole and slide on the T-bar, spring ring with castellated collar, bottom bushing and cover sleeve in order.
4. Install the SuperPole™ between floor and ceiling by turning the extension screw until secure.
5. Set the bar height, tighten the three collar set screws until flush, and slide the spring ring down to retain them.
6. Lower the T-bar onto the collar, install the bottom bushing and secure with its screw.

• WARNING – PATIENT ENTRAPMENT: Entrapment of limbs, neck, head or torso between the pole and nearby items such as a bed or toilet is possible. Place the pole considerably closer to or farther from those items, and account for mattress compression and bed movement.
• This product is not a physical restraint or barrier to exiting the bed.
• SuperBar™ set screws must be tightened until flush with the collar, or injury may result.
• Do not install if the structure above the ceiling is unknown, on loose floor coverings, on angled ceilings, in rooms with radiant ceiling heat, or where the pole is directly exposed to water.
• Damage may occur if the extension screw is overtightened.
